FARMS

The OSVACA firm has twenty-five farms of its own with between seven thousand and seven thousand five hundred calves, distributed in the Barcelona, Lleida and Huesca areas.

The calves arrive on our farms aged between fifteen and thirty days.Once on the farm they are fed with milk for the first sixty days, backed up with feed and straw.

In the first days after arrival they get a health check and checks are also carried out that they have all the proper documentation in good order.

Once they are weaned the go to the unit where there are to be fattened, to an aged of between six and seven months. So they can be slaughtered and consumed, they are fed with feed, straw and water.

During their stay on our farms their health and growth are regularly and rigorously monitored, as we have our own feed formula made to our specifications at a factory in Cardona.

Once they reach the proper age and weight they are slaughtered at the abattoir and sold by the meat department.
